Uninstalling ANIO Service and ANIWZCS Service

After looking for a way of uninstalling this software for hours and being lead to forums with people who have the same problem and no answer, (as the basic Uninstall and Add/Remove Method would not work), I decided to post the solution here.

These programs are associated with a D-Link Product. Mine in particular was the DWL-520 Rev E wireless B card.

The software that comes with it is just horrible and is the reason why you cant uninstall it!

Now the Solution to this is that you actually need the original install files to uninstall, which I've found and uploaded here.

Once you've downloaded the file, extract it and run the setup file. It may not recognize the original install; in my case, this is exactly what happened. So go ahead and install it and once complete, it will ask you to restart. Restart your computer. Now run the install file again and the program will now uninstall the files. The setup and the install look exactly the same. It will say: preparing to install. Once it's done preparing, you will get this screen:

Click "OK". It will take a few minutes and show a few screens but after that, it will be complete. Your ANIO Service and ANIWZCS Service is now uninstalled!

Note:Even after the software is uninstalled you will still be able to run your D-Link card, as the drivers are still installed without the garbage software.

Installing Myst 1.3 for Windows 95 on Xp

I am going to show you how to install "Myst" on Windows Xp without any headaches, hopefully.

1.When you insert the cd you should see something like this. Now if you do not see this when inserting your disk:

Go to Start>My Computer>
You should see an image like this titled "Myst".

Double click that and You will get the Broderbund start up screen.

2. Click "install". You will get a welcome screen. Click "next". Default installation is usually the best choice so click "next" again. Now you will get a window like this:

You still have to install this particular version of Quicktime, regardless if you already have a Quicktime program installed on your computer or not. Click "OK" on this screen.

3. Now you will get a Begin Install Screen. Click "install". It will then ask you if you would like to look for other versions of Quicktime. Click "skip" as you need this version to run the game. Then, it will prompt you again, click "yes". Now choose "install".
It should now tell you that Quicktime has been successfully installed. Click OK and Ok again.

When you see the Registration Screen hit "cancel". You will then get another prompt about registration, simply click "OK".

4. You will see another screen just like when you first inserted the disk but now, the "run" button is not grayed out. Close this box as we need to make some adjustments for the game to run properly.

Go to Start>My Computer>C: Drive>Program Files> Myst

In that folder you will again see a little book icon entitled "Myst". Right click it. Go all the way down to Properties then go to the computability tab at the top.
Now tick "Run this window in compatibility mode for". Make sure the tab is set to windows 95. Then under Display Settings make sure you tick "256 colors" and "Run in 640x480" screen resolution. Now click "Apply" and you should be ready to go!

Note: Make sure that when you start the game there should be nothing in the background besides your desktop. If there is any open window in the background it will upset the game and the graphics will be distorted.

Minimum System Requirements:
PC: 386 33 MHz (486 Recommended for Windows 95); Windows 3.1 / 95; 4 MB RAM (8 MB for Windows 95); 2X CD-ROM Drive; SVGA 640 X 480, 256 Color Video Card; Windows Compatible Sound Card; 4 MB of Free Hard Drive Space; Mouse
